The video shoots for this video were unusually peaceful. The weather was beautiful. The music familiar. Though we had to trounce through a cow pie or two to get to the field location, the overall feeling there was just a peace that remained even with drones whizzing above our head. At Peter Prier Violin and Sons, Daniel Prier patiently and with great care took the time to care for Ben’s cello (no cellos were harmed in the filming of this video — in fact, Ben’s cello got a new polish and touch up!). The message behind this video is all about being made whole again. The teens in this orchestra may look (and sound) perfect, as though the world just steps aside to let them through, but that is not the case. Each of us is broken in so many ways, we are fragile beyond what anyone would think looking from the outside. So this video is dedicated to the broken and worn, the damaged and suffering — to you. Just like the luthier restores a broken instrument to better than new, The Master Carpenter can restore each of us, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 Learn more at: https://tinyurl.com/okn6xhw
